Repairs & Preventative Maintenance
We offer repairs for your existing equipment as well as preventative maintenance. Preventative maintenance can maximize the performance of your equipment, as well as increase its safety and reliability. The life of every device can be extended with proper service. Scissors, chisels and rongeurs become dull with regular use, clamps and graspers go out of alignment, and insulation wears and peels on laparoscopy instruments and needs to be replaced. To arrange repair or maintenance of your equipment, please download both our Repair Request Form and our Sterilization Form, fill them out, and send them with your equipment to the address on the Repair Request Form.

Warranties
Our warranties do not extend to any products which have been subject to misuse, neglect, accident, incorrect wiring or used in violation of operating instructions as stipulated by the manufacturer, nor extend to any units altered or repaired for a warranty defect by anyone other than Medfix. Some states or countries do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, and/or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages may not apply to the original customer. Our warranty gives you specific rights and you may also have other rights, which vary, from state to state. NOTE: There are no warranties on light bulbs for light sources unless otherwise specified.
Returns
We will honor all returns based on our warranty policy as listed below for your particular item. (Subject to prior approval, our used equipment may also be returned for store credit.) The Following Items are NON-RETURNABLE
- Product laser etched at customers request
- Titanium Instruments
- Custom and special orders
- Products that have been used, sterilized or altered in any way
- Non-packaged items
Subject to the limits above, full credit will be issued for items returned within 30 days.

- Item model number to be returned
- Condition of item/s to be returned
- Reason for return request
